For Men
How Fathers, Family, Friends Can Help
The goal of this event between The Wylie Center and The Inland Empire Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative (IEPMHC) is to raise awareness regarding the special needs community, whether it is children with autism, to mothers with postpartum depression or teens with mobility challenges. Come join us in our walk from Shamel Park to the Magnolia Presbyterian Church.
The Collaborative and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) invite Physicians, Mental Health Professionals, Hospital Administrators, Accrediting Bodies, Government Employees, Advocates and others to join the Collaborative, Dr. Laura Miller and other experts from throughout the country to discuss emerging considerations for improving maternal mental health screening and treatment.
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors make an announcement in May of 2012 declaring that May will be Perinatal Depression Awareness Month.
